Naturally, it has the mushroom-style chronograph pushers, dial lugs and the combination of brushed and radially polished surfaces that distinguished the first Chronomaster. However, the steel strap has a new design replacing the open “ladder” style of 1969 with sturdy links.
The Chronomaster Original is equipped with the latest version of the El Primero movement, named El Primero 3600, which has a high frequency of 5 Hz, allowing for 1/10 second indication. This manufacture movement offers an extended power reserve of 60 hours. The sapphire display back offers an unobstructed view of modern architecture with a sleeker and more open design, with an open-operated rotor adorned with a five-pointed Zenith star at its center.
