F12 Berlinetta was originally a car line equipped with the top powerful V12 engine of the Ferrari brand before the appearance of later Hybrid cars. Originally, the F12 Berlinetta was capable of producing up to 730 horsepower. However, the Daily Driven Exotics car group recently decided to upgrade this car with many engine details, typically a dual turbocharger that helps the output power level reach 1,500 horsepower – a huge number. equivalent to top Hypercar models like the Bugatti Chiron.

The Daily Driven Exotics car group is often known for its impressive custom works, from lightly upgraded cars with bodykit packages to extremely “bold” works like the Lamborghini Huracan Aperta – The car is made from Huracan EVO RWD Spyder and windshield are completely removed. To date, the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta equipped with a twin turbocharger with a capacity of 1,500 horsepower continues to bring the name of this car group to more car enthusiasts around the world.

The car was customized by car mechanic Aaron Kaufman. He customized this Ferrari for the Daily Driven Exotics YouTube channel. The project began in 2020 and after being delayed by the pandemic, the car is now officially completed and participating in large and small car events. The car guys at DDE bought a used F12 Berlinetta for $300,000 and after driving the car on a test track, they decided they needed to upgrade the car with twin turbochargers.

However, originally, the F12 Berlinetta is equipped with a 6.3-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine capable of producing 730 horsepower with a torque of 690 Nm, which helps the car accelerate. from 0 – 100 km/h in just 3.1 seconds and can reach a maximum speed of up to 340 km/h. This level of output power is still not enough for these car enthusiasts, so they gave the F12 Berlinetta upgrades so that the car has a huge capacity of 1,500 horsepower.

The idea of installing turbochargers for the F12’s engine is in fact difficult because the car is equipped with a front-mounted engine and a flat hood, so there is not enough space for installation. According to Aaron Kaufman, the parts on this car are not easy to install and arrange. From here, he made a bold decision to cut off some patches on the hood, thereby revealing some details such as the impressive fire-breathing turbo. In addition, he also had to rearrange some parts such as the intake manifold or throttle valve to get the most reasonable layout of the engine compartment when it was necessary to install some new details to increase the overall power of the vehicle. car.

During the upgrade process, Aaron tried to retain the original position of the parts so that he could maintain the car easily and without encountering too many obstacles due to the car’s customization. Upgrading this car requires the owner to accept cutting off some parts of the car’s hood as well as some modifications and retrofits in the original engine of the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta. However, for the “daring” and adventurous car enthusiasts from the DDE group, this project deserves to be one of the bright spots next to the Huracan EVO RWD Spyder that this group has done before.

In addition, the car has also been installed with a new set of black multi-spoke wheels to create a different look for the custom car. Furthermore, the original exhaust system with the rear outlet has been removed and replaced with an exhaust system with the outlet right on the front hood. This is considered an extremely bold version when, according to the car group’s estimates, the power level has doubled compared to the original Ferrari F12 Berlinetta, even 500 horsepower more powerful than the top “super horse”. At present, the Ferrari SF90 has an output capacity of 1,000 horsepower.
