Here’s how: for the upcoming New York Gala, international ocean conservation group Oceana is holding a live auction for the “ Time to Indulge ” lot with a luxury shopping experience at the flagship store by Blancpain on Fifth Avenue. With expert guidance from Blancpain’s knowledgeable staff, the winner will have the opportunity to choose two (2) watches from the Fifty Fathoms or Villeret collections.

The Fifty Fathoms collection embodies Blancpain’s passion for the underwater world, first expressed in 1953 with the launch of the first modern diver’s watch, while the Villeret collection embodies Blancpain’s origins and showcase its leading aesthetic choices.

In addition to Blancpain’s watchmaking craftsmanship, the auction also includes the best of New York City hospitality as the winner will enjoy two nights in a room at the Aman New York and two dining experiences .

A dinner for four at Arva or Nama, located in the Aman residence at Manhattan’s iconic Crown Building. The other dinner was for two at chef Daniel Boulud’s eponymous restaurant, Daniel. This mainstay of New York City’s dining scene has two Michelin stars and will serve a seasonal four-course prix fixe menu, accompanied by wine.

Proceeds from the sale of this auction benefit Oceana’s ocean conservation campaigns around the world, including habitat protection work in the Gulf of Mexico supported by two expeditions science by Oceana x Blancpain. To date, Oceana has scored more than 275 victories to prevent overfishing, habitat destruction, oil and plastic pollution, and the destruction of threatened species such as turtles, whales, and sharks.
