In the La Maison Pur Sang restoration program, two legendary hypercar models of the Bugatti Veyron 2006 and Grand Sport 2009 were revived. These are also the two car models that created the reputation of the French supercar company.
Automobile restoration projects aim to give new life to old vehicles. However, Bugatti’s lifestyle is very different from the norm, like these two Veyron restoration projects.
Bugatti Veyron EB 16.4 is newly painted Blue-Black
The Veyron EB 16.4 launched in 2005 was one of the first Bugatti models sold. The 2009 Veyron Grand Sport is part of the first batch delivered to customers. Both cars are owned by a businessman, located in an international collection in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Just bringing these two supercars to Bugatti for restoration took 3 years. For cars under 20 years old, the restoration will go to Bugatti La Maison Pur Sang – where engineers from the company’s internal restoration team will perform inspection, maintenance, and aesthetic improvements according to customer requirements.
The Coupe Veyron EB 16.4 is newly painted Blue-Black (Black Blue M and Blue M). To better match the exterior, the car’s interior was changed from a lighter brown (Cognac) to a darker color (Havanna).
Meanwhile, the Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport is 3 years younger than the other car, the two-tone gray exterior seems better, except for the interior. The car owner requested light brown (Magnolia) instead of the original brown (Silk). According to Bugatti, this was done to give the car a “more modern profile”.
While being serviced at Bugatti La Maison Pur Sang, both cars were inspected for parts or replaced as necessary.
Bugatti says the Veyron coupe was completely stripped down to change the exterior and interior colors, during which time it was returned to like-new condition. In addition to the three-year planning process, both cars spent nine months at Bugatti before returning to the UAE.
Bugatti did not mention pricing for this project. Looking at some of the maintenance costs for the Bugatti, they will certainly be extremely expensive.
Bugatti Veyron EB 16.4 and Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport are equipped with a W16 engine with a capacity of 8.0L 4 turbo, maximum capacity of 1,001 horsepower and torque of 1,250 Nm.
From 2005-2011, a total of 252 Veyron EB 16.4 vehicles were built. From 2009 to 2015, Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport produced 58 cars.
