Just released by Breitling is a new women’s collection of their iconic Navitimer pilot’s watch. Available in 36 and 32mm case sizes, this new collection joins the brand’s existing lineup of women’s watches in the more “unisex” 41mm size. In typical Breitling style, there is a strong range of pieces in this new collection, from classic silver or anthracite dials to mother-of-pearl dials set with diamonds.

Before diving into the details, it is important to emphasize Breitling’s commitment to responsibility and ethics when using precious materials. As has been a much-discussed topic recently, Breitling has chosen lab-grown “better diamonds” here as part of their initiative to completely eliminate the use of mined diamonds. end of 2024. Additionally, the two-tone and full-gold bars are made with “better gold,” meaning the precious metal is traceable to smaller gold mines that meet societal standards and the Swiss Better Gold Association’s environment.

Let’s start with the 36mm collection, all of which feature the instantly recognizable beaded Navitimer bezel with its circular slide rule. There are six steel versions with mint green, silver or anthracite dials on either the strap or leather strap. The Navis 36mm also comes in two-tone or solid gold variants (also available on the matching bracelet or strap) with a beautiful mother-of-pearl dial with the aforementioned lab-grown diamond hour markers. All of these Navitimer 36 models are equipped with the COSC-certified Breitling Caliber 17 movement with a 38-hour power reserve and operating at a frequency of 4 Hz.

These 36m wide cases are 11.42mm thick (50m water resistant) and have a lug-to-lug measurement of 41.7mm. With today’s more creative and versatile style options, don’t be surprised to see these women’s watches on the wrists of many men (myself included).

The 32mm versions are both smaller and do not include a slide rule, which seems prudent for such a small dial size. What they do have, however, are some gorgeous blush pink and pale blue mother-of-pearl dials, a first for the brand. There is also a white mother-of-pearl dial in steel as well as two-tone gold. Again, all of these are available with a matching bracelet or strap.

The smaller Navitimer 32 models are equipped with the COSC-certified Breitling Caliber 77 heat-compensated Superquartz movement. Measuring 32mm wide and 8mm thick, they are water resistant to a depth of 50m.

Pricing for the Breitling Navitimer 32 in steel starts at $4,300 for the bracelet and $4,600 for the bracelet, two-tone at $5,600 for the bracelet and $7,900 for the bracelet, and $9,400 for the solid gold bracelet and $22,000 for a solid gold strap. The steel Navitimer 36 starts at $5,000 for the bracelet and $5,300 for the bracelet, two-tone at $7,250 for the bracelet and $9,650 for the bracelet, and solid gold at $12,950 for the bracelet and $33,000 for the bracelet. strap.
