The British supercar manufacturer only released 6 special 750S, with both Coupe and Spider body styles, to commemorate the prestigious victories of the McLaren racing team.

To pay tribute to its motorsport successes, McLaren introduced the limited-production 750S model named 3-7-59, dubbed “the most complex project ever undertaken by the team”. McLaren Special Operations”.
​3-7-59 is the number of racing cars that have won the Indy 500, MonacoGP and Le Mans.Number #3 is reminiscent of the M16D driven by racer Johnny Rutherford at the 1974 Indy 500 race.Number #7 reminds of the 1984 McLaren MP4/2 that won with driver Alain Prost at MonacoGP 1984

Number #59 recalls the McLaren F1 GTR that won Le Mans 1995 with drivers Yannick Dalmas, Nasanori Sekiya and JJ Lehto.The highlight of this special edition comes from the extremely complex and eye-catching exterior paint color. They were introduced by F1 driver Lando Norris, Indy driver Pato O’Ward and former F1 driver Derek Bell.Each special edition McLaren 750S takes 1,200 hours to paint. The red and white exterior colors are inspired by the MP4/2. The gray on the side is from the F1 GTR and the blue/yellow on the rear is from the M16D.McLaren also equipped this special 750S with Satin Black wheels. The brake calipers on each wheel are a different color, blue, red or Le Mans gold.Inside the car, the orange Triple Crown logo is embroidered on the seat headrests and on the center armrest. The car’s cockpit is covered in Alcantara leather, accented by contrasting white stitching

The car uses carbon racing seats, carbon steps and hand-painted gear lever. McLaren Special Operations also installed a commemorative plaque on the car’s body.The special edition is also part of a series of events to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the McLaren brand.
