Panerai returns to its roots with the new Radiomir California, launched during this year’s Watch and Wonder Show. Developed in 1935, the Radiomir was Panerai’s first wristwatch and laid the design foundation for contemporary Radiomir models.

This new model has a dark blue dial and is the first 45mm watch to feature a signature California dial, featuring both Roman and Arabic numerals. They send a green light in the darkness.

The case is made of Panerai’s eSteel, a stainless steel made from 95% recycled scrap steel and is water resistant up to 100 meters. To accentuate its classic look, it has been given a weather-sealed effect using a PVD coating and hand-brushing.

The Radiomir California is driven by the P.5000 manual-winding movement, which offers an eight-day power reserve thanks to two barrels. It can be admired through the back exhibition case.

Calfskin strap with “G. the words Panerai e Figlio”. This is an exclusive detail reminiscent of the engraving on the company sign at Panerai’s original workshop in Florence.
